Hold onto your wings because BINKABU is breaking new ground with our first-ever animal earring. Introducing the Grey-Headed Flying-Fox, commonly known as the Fruit Bat. These surprising earrings are a tribute to an iconic Brisbane creature of the night. This is a monumental moment in BINKABU history, but it’s Halloween and the Fruit Bat Bluey soundtrack plays on repeat in my head rent-free, so I figured we might as well!

These are designed as a mismatched pair to capture the charm of these adorable fruit bats. Each earring showcases a flying fox with its distinctive large eyes and winged silhouette. These little guys may not be birds, but they certainly know how to make a statement, and their dusk migration is an iconic sight. And speaking of statements, we couldn’t resist a cheeky nod to everyone's favourite blue heeler—if you know, you know!

Our Halloween Collection is available via pre-orders only. Once the pre-order window closes on September 16th 11:59pm, your earrings will go into production. We have an approximate turnaround time of 3-4 weeks before we ship. Items purchased with pre-order products will be sent together when the order is ready.

  • All prices listed in our policies and FAQs are AUD
  • Standard shipping in Australia: $9.50 (+$3 for Signature on Delivery)
  • Express shipping in Australia: $12.50 (+$3 for Signature on Delivery)
  • International shipping: Varies with location (+$5.50 for Signature on Delivery). Express option available
  • Free standard shipping in Australia for orders over $100 AUD
  • Free international shipping for orders over $170 AUD

Processing time on orders will vary, but in general please allow 2-5 days for us to ship your items after your order is received. We strive to get your express orders out as soon as we can but we can't guarantee next-day dispatch. Express shipping is ultimately a faster method of shipping but does not guarantee faster dispatch.

All items are shipped through Australia Post. We do not take any responsibility for your parcel once it has left our hands, and therefore cannot take responsibility for items lost by Australia Post. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped which will allow you to follow its journey. We highly recommend choosing a 'Signature on Delivery' option for maximum security. If you have made a significant purchase and would like to insure the parcel, please contact us as soon as you place your order, if not earlier. Insurance costs will be your own responsibility. We ship to the address listed by you when you place your order. If items are returned to us due to an incorrect address or non-collection, we will contact you for an updated address to resend it to you. However, you are responsible for the cost of re-shipping an item due to incorrect details. If you realise you have made a mistake and need to change your address, contact us ASAP, and we'll gladly change it for you if we haven't sent it out yet.
